Family First Adolescent Services Verified Provider

Residential Treatment Center (Adolescent Boys , 13-18 Years Old)

Family First Adolescent Services is an insurance friendly adolescent treatment center for mental health, substance abuse, trauma, problematic gaming, and behavioral issues.

Offering a boutique experience with 3:1 staff to client ratio, beautiful campuses, and a clinically advanced program developed specifically for teens, that is both challenging and nurturing.

The unique clinical approach at Family First is intensive, dynamic and highly effective. When clients enter our program, they receive a minimum of five individual therapy sessions with their primary therapist in their first seven days of treatment, in addition to initial assessments. Family First therapists work with small client case loads, allowing the best and most attentive care for our clients and their families.

At Family First, we hold that continuing education while receiving treatment is a valuable and esteem building prospect. Our Education Specialists assist each client with individualized academic support, coordinate and case manage the client’s workload with their home school, tutor clients on specific areas of need, and report to the client’s family on progress in the class room.

In addition to weekly family therapy sessions, clinician-led groups are offered twice a week to parents and family members, covering material such as the biology of the adolescent mind, coping strategies and survival styles, family systems, identity and self-agency development, skills practice and processing, explored through interactive presentation. Families are provided with personalized support, assignments tailored to their specific family dynamics, weekly updates from the clinical, programming, and academic teams, as well as ongoing contact and support from our case managers.

Family First is on the cutting edge of trauma informed care, as the fi rst adolescent program to utilize the Neuroaffective Relational Model (NARM), with all our clinical staff certified as NARM practitioners.
